Clarinet Crazy

Clarinet

The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra is presenting a free concert, “Clarinet Crazy.”

On the program are a seldom-heard Clarinet Concerto by Aaron Copland, the world premiere of a new concerto by Bay Area composer Richard Festinger, a J.C. Bach concerto featuring bellringers, and a section of Gustav Mahler’s Fifth Symphony.

One performance will be in the auditorium of the Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM) as part of their new after-work series called “Rush Hour Concerts.” A second performance will be at the Herbst Theater. There will also be performances in Palo Alto and Berkeley
